on the Internet. We believe it is important you know how we treat the
information you may provide to us.
• Unless prominently and specifically stated otherwise, the
information you provide is never shared with anyone other than
Collateral Risk Solutions, Inc. employees.
• This privacy statement applies only to information collected by web
addresses in the colrisk.com and collateralrisksolutions.com domains,
hereafter referred to collectively as CRS.

• If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain
personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You may

address) and financial information (such as credit card number,

this information to contact you.
Log Files
• As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information
automatically and store it in log files. This information may include
internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, referring/exit pages,
operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data.
• We use this information, which does not identify individual users,
to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track user’s movements
around the site and to gather demographic information about our user
base as a whole.
Cookies
• A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer
for record-keeping purposes. We do use cookies on this site. CRS may use
both session ID cookies and/or persistent cookies. We use session
cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID
cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains
on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove
persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet
browsers help file.
• If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability
to use some areas of our site may be limited.
How We Protect Your Personal Information
• CRS safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical,
electronic, and managerial procedures. Likewise, we urge you to take
every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the
Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters,
numbers and symbols, and make sure you use a secure browser.
• The CRS website uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
encryption on all web pages where personal information is required. When
entering personal information, we strongly recommend an SSL-enabled web
browser. Web browsers developed after Internet Explorer 3 and Netscape 3
use SSL version 3. (For the best experience at the CRS web site,
recommend using Netscape 6, IE 5, or better browsers.) This protects the
confidentiality of your personal and credit card information while it is
transmitted over the Internet. On some areas of the CRS web site, users
do have the option to use a non-SSL connection. We do this for
compatibility for older browsers.
• When you enter credit card information on the CRS web site, we do
not store credit card numbers on our servers. Credit card numbers are
submitted to a credit card authorization service. This service provides
CRS with credit card validation information only. We do not have access
to your personal financial data.

• You always have access to the information we have about you. You
may request your personal information or have this information changed
at any time.
